Manila gave a Story Part I
On this post I want to tell you about a beautiful park in Manila. I was there on 20 July. It was really green and clean. Rizal Park, one of famous park in Manila. Okay check this out !
                No other place in hearth of Manila can one find serenity and diversity than in Rizal Park. Hailed as the first urban park in Asia. It boasts of world class sculptures, historical maker, beautiful gardens and various forms of entertainment. During the American period, a monument of Dr. Jose Rizal was built. In 1913, The parks name changed to Rizal Park.

1. the Rizal monument and shrine
                Within the cornerstone of the Rizal monument lies the remains of National Hero, Dr. Jose Rizal.

2. The flagpole
                The Philippine flag on this pole flies at all time regardless of the weather. This flagpole is 105 feet high and is distinct for being the “ kilometer zero “ or the point of reference for land travel throughout the islan of Luzon.

3. La Madre Filipina
                A relic from pre-war Philippines, this statue was created by master sculptor Martinez.

4. Gallery of National Heroes
                There are many statues of the National heroes. Also known as Heroes Promenade, the site is a tribute to Marcelo H. Del Pilar, Apolinario Mabini and Sultan Kudarat and all freedom-loving Filipinos who dies for the country.

Actually there are another unique spots here. Like open air auditorium, Japanese garden, musical dancing fountain and also another statue, but I will tell you later, hoho this is my story in Manila. The Capital city of Philippines. I want to visit it again someday.
